Scrill stays local by default.
Scrill listens for scroll-wheel events so it can play a short sound or Force Touch haptic tap. It does not record page content, keystrokes, screenshots, or browsing history.
What the app uses
- Accessibility permission for a passive global scroll event tap.
- Local settings for sound, haptics, density, trial state, and license state.
- Network access only for license activation and validation.
What it does not collect
- No document text, website content, passwords, or keystrokes.
- No analytics dashboard or behavioral tracking.
- No uploaded custom sound unless you choose a local file yourself.
